For Engineers Week 2017, New York State Capital District SWE Member Christina Minkler, PE, MBA and Sarah Bowman, PE, PTOE of CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA) created a video talking about the types of projects they work on, what they like best about being engineers, and practical advice for new and aspiring engineers. They discuss engineering’s impact on their lives, their community, and its contribution to the world around us.

“I love being an engineer – envisioning what communities can be in the future, solving complex problems, working with multiple stakeholders to find solutions, and seeing my work come to life and impact people’s lives,” Christina said.

Sarah is a recent recipient of the Capital District Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Women of Excellence Award in the Emerging Professionals category. She is a traffic engineer at CHA and has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She joined CHA in 2007.
