Fernando Ceccarelli

January 2016 Fernando Ceccarelli Fernando Ceccarelli is the senior vice president and general manager of the Power Distribution Division (PDD) in the Electrical Sector, EMEA of Eaton Corporation. He is responsible for the PDD Business in EMEA and has Global Product Line responsibility for IEC MCB components products. Ceccarelli joined Eaton’s Truck business in Brazil in 1995 and held several roles in Quality and Manufacturing engineering, materials management, and later certified as a six sigma black belt. He moved to Galesburg, MI in 2003 as Product Planning and Business Development manager and since then has held increasingly senior operations and business roles in Brazil and Poland. Most recently served as vice president and general manager of Eaton’s automotive Fluid Connectors Division (FCD), located in Rastatt, Germany. Ceccarelli graduated from Universidade Estadual de Campinas – Unicamp, in Brazil, with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and a Master of Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences – both at Northwestern University. In addition to English, he is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. He is based in Vienna, Austria.

Marcin Klimaszewski
Senior Software Engineering Manager, Cloud

Intel
Manager of Cloud Software Poland organization with a charter of delivering high-quality SW for Software Defined Infrastructure within DCG. Prior to this role, Marcin has been a manager of fast growing storage drivers team. He joined Intel in 2003. Prior to Intel he has been working for Lucent Technologies Poland.

Apart from leading the engineering organization Marcin has been involved as GPTW Poland team business sponsor since 2012, has been playing a critical role in taking the diversity in Poland to the next level. He was instrumental in developing and successfully implementing the Intel Diversity Scholarship (first program of this kind in Poland), facilitated internal discussions and D&I workshops, attended and spoke at a number of D&I events providing business perspective and promoting Intel as an inclusive employer.

Dr. Thomas Peuntner

Dr. Thomas Peuntner is Global Human Resources Director for Europe, Africa, Middle East and Russia (EAMER). In addition, he is the champion of ERG Women REACH in the region, elevates the conversation about the valuable contributions of and opportunities for women in engineering and technology, engaging and expanding the best practices for developing a gender-diverse workforce within John Deere.

In this role as Global HR Director, Peuntner provides strategic Human Resources (HR) and Labor Relations (LR) direction to John Deere units in the region and is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the implementation of HR processes and the appropriate integration of Enterprise HR/LR strategies. His guidance and leadership ensure that the regional HR team is aligned with and responsive to the business needs of the region. In his most recent assignment as Global HR Director Latin America, Peuntner led HR and LR activities across the region and developed a strong HR/LR function that is well-aligned, connected, and respected by both business leaders and employees. Since joining John Deere in 2004, Peuntner has held positions of increasing responsibility including Industrial Relations Manager at the Mannheim factory, HR Manager for the European office, HR Manager for John Deere International in Switzerland, HR Manager for both the Mannheim factory and John Deere European office, and Global University Relations Program Manager. Peuntner has an advanced degree in business administration from the University of Muenster, Germany, and earned a doctorate in economics from Mannheim University in 2001. He started his career at BASF in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Peuntner’s broad and deep experience in different cultures and with different people, his keen business acumen, and strong leadership is well qualifying him to be a panelist.”

Jonathan Wood

Cummins

After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK, my Cummins career started in 1994 as a college hire in the Cummins Turbo Technologies Aftermarket and Service team. Since then I have held roles in both Product Engineering and Program Leadership and have led many New Product and Technology programs. From 2009 to 2012 I held the role of Director – Asia Engineering with a strong focus on developing our India and China technical centres. This gave my family and I had a chance to do an assignment living in Wuxi, China supporting the technical centre development. Returning back to the UK in 2012 to take up my current role as Exec Director for Research and Engineering in Cummins Turbo Technologies leading 500 global engineers in turbocharger design and development.

In 2016 I graduated the Cummins Exec Development program. In addition to my Engineering responsibilities, I’m a site leader for the Huddersfield UK facility, a member of the Cummins European Area Business Team and champion the Technical Women’s Initiative for Europe region to drive improvements in our gender diversity within our European Engineering teams.

I’m married to Karen and have 2 children. My spare time is spent supporting my children in their sporting activities of football and karting. After that, I have a passion for classic cars.
