The SWENext program is in its third year, and over 1,600 SWENexters have graduated from high school. With that in mind, SWE is kicking off the FY18 WOW! Innovation Challenge with a focus on transitioning SWENexters to college. We are also launching a video competition to inspire all collegiate sections to start recruiting SWENexters. Find out more about these great opportunities below.

SWE is excited to announce the first FY18 Wow! Innovation Challenge. This challenge will focus on how SWE sections recruit and engage SWENexters as they transition to college. Share best practices and tips on planning events (e.g. Freshman Orientation activities) designed to welcome SWENexters as they join your section and your institution. Visit here to learn more information about this challenge and how to apply. The deadline to submit your challenge is October 6, 11:59 PM CT. One section/MAL/affiliate will be awarded a $500 Outreach stipend, featured on SWE social media, and the SWE All Together blog. Questions about this challenge?  Check out the Wow! Innovation Challenge FAQs or contact Darcy Andersen.
