I would recommend attending SWE conferences because you can really learn a lot from the workshops to improve your leadership skills and also know the trend of technology development that’s going on in the world. Also, it’s a great networking opportunity. You get to talk to tons of employers from different companies and meet a lot of people from different SWE sections and know how their chapter is running.
