Petryszyn is sector vice president and general manager of the Land and Avionics C4ISR division for Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector, a leading global provider, manufacturer and integrator of advanced, secure and agile software-defined systems and solutions.In this role, Petryszyn is responsible for leading overall growth and program activities for the Land & Avionics C4ISR division, which serves warfighters and customers with advanced sensors; aircraft survivability equipment; cockpits; avionics, targeting, communications and intelligence systems; multi-spectral electronic warfare systems; air defense capabilities; and global mission solutions.

Previously, Petryszyn was vice president of Global Strategy and Mission Solutions at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, where she led sector strategy development, customer engagement, business development and significant global captures.

Before joining Northrop Grumman, Petryszyn was responsible for worldwide mergers and acquisitions for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. Previously, Petryszyn was vice president of the Civil Security and Response business area, where she led programs in chemical/biological/radiation/nuclear/explosives detection, maritime surveillance and global decision support systems. She has worked around the world in engineering, program management, business development and strategy, holding various assignments of increasing responsibility at Singer-Link, Hughes Aircraft Company and Raytheon.Petryszyn has extensive international business experience, having worked with business and government leaders in markets such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Greece, India, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Republic of Korea, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Petryszyn serves on the Corporate Partnership Council for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and was appointed to serve on the 2011 Civil Air Patrol Diversity Committee. She is a fellow life member of SWE and is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Petryszyn received the prestigious SWE Global Leader Award in 2015 and the Woman of Distinction Award from Mile Hi Girl Scout Council. She has served on numerous science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) related advisory boards.Petryszyn graduated from Clarkson University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering. She earned her master’s degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University. She has completed advanced management programs, including the Executive Business Leadership Program at the University of Chicago and Indiana University’s Executive Marketing Program.
