While historically the SWE PDG Committee has met monthly to review grant requests for PDG funding, the PDG Committee will formally meet only one more time during FY17.
All grant requests must be submitted by 11:59pm on May, 1 2017 to be reviewed and considered during the last FY17 review cycle. Final notification of FY17 PDG Grant Funding will take place no later than Friday, May 26th.
A formal review of PDG requests will not take place during April or June of 2017. Requests submitted by April 1 for events occurring prior to the 5/22 review date will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis; events in June or beyond will be included in the final review in May. This will enable the SWE PDG Committee to test and launch a new application and reporting system during the last quarter of FY17.
SWE sections and affiliates seeking PDG Funding during the final FY17 review cycle are encouraged to apply for awards under $1,000 and to submit their applications in advance of the 5/1/2017 deadline.
NOTE: PDG grant requests for consideration during FY18 (7/1/2017 – 6/30/2018) funding cycle should NOT be submitted via the link above. The new application system will be open for requests no later than June 15, 2017. Review and approval of FY18 PDG grant requests will resume in July of 2017.
