Karen Horting, Executive Director and CEO of the Society of Women Engineers, has an update on the many activities and accomplishments of SWE. Watch the video below for details.

WE Local

SWE has hosted three successful WE Local events in Pittsburgh, San Jose, and Pune, India.  In Pune, we more than doubled last year’s attendance. WE Local Amsterdam is coming up in May, and at least five events are planned next year.

WE Local announced the conference cities for 2018.

  • Madison, Wisconsin
  • Portland, Oregon
  • Phoenix, Arizona
  • Providence, Rhode Island
  • Tulsa, Oklahoma

WE Local offers networking with fellow technical women who live in the area. Educational workshops and engaging sessions provide professional development designed specifically for women in engineering and technology. Attendees have the opportunity to meet with potential employers and connect with colleagues while developing their skills.

WE Local conferences are innovative, collaborative events. SWE sections along with SWE Headquarters work together to “Meet Locally. Learn Socially.”
