Gearing up for WE17? It’s not too early to start planning for WE Local!

Have you always wanted to tour Portland or Providence? Or perhaps extend a business trip in Phoenix or Milwaukee? Or plan a visit to see family in Tulsa?
Announcing 2018 WE Local Conference Dates

With five WE Local conferences around the country, there’s a WE Local for you!

All conferences feature inspiring keynote speakers, break-through breakout sessions and inviting networking opportunities for all stages of your career.

Choose to attend a conference in your home town, the place you want your next job to be, or where your university is–there’s no conference out of your limits.

Tailor your WE Local experience to your needs!

Whether you’re seeking career advancement, fostering connections or technical education, you will find it at one of the five professionally organized, locally inspired WE Local conferences. Plus, you’ll see notable improvements to 2018 WE Local conferences while keeping all the things you loved from 2017 WE Local and regional conferences.

WE Local is Happening Now!

Some conference cities have calls for participation (CFP) open for workshop sessions, lightning talks and collegiate competitions now. Registration for all conferences will be available later this year but in the interim, check out your conference city’s registration rates at your host city website under “Attendees.”

For more details about 2018 conferences, check out the WE Local website to get your questions answered or better yet, find out much more about WE Local at WE17.  Visit the WE Local pop-up tent–think farmers market—staffed by friendly and knowledgeable WE Local Advisory Board (LAB) and Local Host Committee (LHC) SWE members.  Connect with us there and follow us to stay informed.

Stay informed with the latest WE Local news and updates

We hope you'll make new local connections that can continue long past the end of the conference. After all, WE Local is meant for you to Meet Locally. Learn Socially.

See you in Austin and perhaps in Tulsa, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Portland and Providence—the opportunities are endless.
