Before starting at SWE in May of 2016, Angelica Beresheim interned with the Status Group coordinating and working events, creating social media posts, and developing a bi-weekly newsletter.  She currently serves as an Engagement Services Coordinator at SWE and strives to make the best experience for each SWE member.  Angelica recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in December 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and a minor in Finance.

Fun Facts About Angelica

My sister and I can’t resist dancing when Beyoncé comes on. My spiritual animal is an Otter. I love to talk, take naps, and play in the water.

Where do you live…did you grow up in the Chicagoland area?
Born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. 10 minutes from the Brookfield Zoo!

Favorite band or type of music?
My favorite band changes all the time but I’ll listen to any type of music! Recently, I’ve been really into Rammstein, Bruno Mars, and The Revivalists.

Favorite TV show?
The Great British Baking Show and Jane the Virgin

Favorite sports team?
Chicago Black Hawks

First celebrity crush?
C. Slater from Saved by the Bell

Biggest fear?
Being kidnapped!

If you could eat one thing the rest of your life what would it be?
Pizza!

What is your favorite thing about your job?
Being able to connect with members and leaders around the world on a daily basis.

Where can we find you on the weekends?
At home binging a show on Netflix or taking a spin class.
