WE Local - FI

The 2019 WE Local Host Committee Chairs and WE Local Headquarters staff are now recruiting (up to) 75 SWE members from around the United States to serve on one of five WE Local Host Committees (LHC). Members who serve on an LHC also participate on one of eight Subcommittees (as Liaisons) ranging from sponsorship to outreach, programming and more.

As liaisons, SWE Members are assisting with completing tasks that contribute to the Subcommittee’s milestones and ultimately, the success of a WE Local conference. The LHC also assists with onsite event preparation, execution and tear down.

This group of LHC members is made of 10- to -15 SWE members who represent a variety of perspectives and backgrounds from SWE. Members do not have to reside in- or be a part of the WE Local Host City section. LHC members serve (virtually) for the duration of the conference programming process (approximately August-April).

To learn more about serving on the WE Local Host Committee, view the “LHC 101” presentation.

If you are interested in serving on a LHC, please contact WE Local at or your respective chair – contact information is in the LHC-101 presentation.
