Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson sat down for a talk with FY19 SWE President Penny Wirsing at the Annual Conference of the Society of Women Engineers,  WE18, in Minneapolis.

Hewson is the most powerful woman in business of 2018 according to Fortune magazine. She is the chairman, president and CEO of Lockheed Martin and has worked for the company for 35 years. She began her career there as an industrial engineer and now leads the $51 billion global security and aerospace giant. She has been the CEO since 2013. Lockheed Martin employs about 100,000 people worldwide. Hewson has also been recognized as one of the “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” by Forbes and as one of the “Bloomberg 50.”
