Congratulations to SWE’s Honna George for being named to Association Forum’s 40 Under 40 list for 2018! Honna was honored at a December awards ceremony that featured the best-and-the-brightest of young association/nonprofit professionals. Association Forum and USAE teamed up to put on the annual awards event.
“I‘m honored to be part of the 2018 Class of 40 under 40,” Honna said. “Working with associations has always been a rewarding part of my career and being recognized by the Forum validates the opportunities and culture I’ve been fortunate to be a part of at SWE.” At SWE, Honna has is the senior manager, Engagement Services and has held positions of increasing responsibility since joining the organization in 2015.
“Leaders like Honna are paving new ground in innovative and exciting ways that we believe will be transformational to associations,” said Anne Daly Heller, executive editor and publisher of the USAE.
The Association Forum’s 40 Under 40 award ceremony has drawn more than 500 applicants since the program began six years ago.
40 Under 40 honorees like Honna gain entry into a network of accomplished and like-minded ascending professionals who routinely engage, both digitally and in-person, with one another. A recent 40 Under 40 alumni meetup was held during the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition in Chicago with other rendezvous’ and online channels.
