Q: What are you most excited about WE Local Buffalo?
I am most excited for everyone who is visiting Buffalo for the first time to see what a great city it is and for everyone participating in a SWE conference for the first time to see what an exciting and valuable organization SWE is!
Q: What is a fun fact about you?
I am an annual pass holder for Disney World this year and consider it my home away from home!

I’m excited to meet everyone at the conference, talk with everyone about what they are currently doing and making great connections.

I attended college in 3 different continents: Africa, Europe and America!

Q: What are you most excited about WE Local Buffalo?
I’m most excited to meet other female engineers and to hear interesting talks given by a diverse group of speakers.
Q: What is a fun fact about you?
I interned at SWE headquarters in Chicago this past summer. I worked with the Student Programs team to organize the middle school and high school programming at WE19.

I’m most excited to see what ideas come out from the Collegiate Competition!

I can speak Portuguese!

Q: What are you most excited about WE Local Buffalo?
I am most excited about getting to meet new people interested in SWE that are close to the Buffalo area. I am the current president of the Western New York Section of SWE and it would be amazing to recruit more people to join our section.

I grew up playing ice hockey and even played in college.

I went to Notre Dame so I am a big “Fighting Irish” fan.

I am most excited to find ways for my new company to leverage SWE’s strength in professional development, leadership training and networking opportunities.

I broke my elbow flipping over a Segway (a crash caused by my boss)… a humorous fact I will forever get to hold over him.
