HP Podcast Series #2- HP Print and Quality
In this SWE Diverse episode, FY20 SWE President Cindy Hoover speaks with Katie Hirschey, Contractual Quality Program Manager in Print Hardware Systems at HP. This is the second in a three-part podcast series with HP about social responsibility. Katie discusses the impact of her work in HP Print and Quality along with her engagement in the intern program and in her regional SWE community.
About Katie Hirschey:
Katie is based in Boise, Idaho, and started with HP 17 years ago as a college intern. After graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering, she joined HP full time and spent 10 years in Print R&D as an ASIC Design Engineer. In 2015 she moved to the HP Print Quality team and has held several roles in that organization focused on product field performance, data analytics and the contractual print environment. Katie has a passion for supporting young women in STEM and currently holds a Scholarship Program co-chair role in her local Southwest Idaho SWE professional section.
