In this SWE Diverse episode, Heather Doty, FY21 SWE President, speaks with Rasha Hasaneen, vice president of innovation and product management excellence at Trane Technologies. Rasha will be a keynote speaker at WE Local India, Bengaluru in April 2021. Together they discuss Rasha’s career with Trane Technologies and obstacles she has faced in a male-dominated industry.
Trane Technologies is a global climate innovator that brings efficient and sustainable climate solutions to buildings, homes and transportation through its Trane and Themo King brands. Rasha has been with the company since 2017 and is responsible for driving functional excellence, building product management capability and incubating and accelerating innovation across the company. Through various leadership roles and data-driven solutions, Rasha has transformed the customer experience for companies including Trane Technologies, GE, SAP, Hitatchi, Lucent Technologies and GM.
Rasha has a Ph.D. in chemical and petroleum engineering, business and public policy from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science in industrial engineering and engineering management from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Engineering and Management in mechanical engineering from McMaster University. She is also a registered Professional Engineer.
