With the call for nominations for FY22 Society-level positions closing on September 24, have you ever wondered what the Society Nominating Committee actually does? On August 27, Nominating Committee Chair, Stacey DelVecchio, and Chair-Elect, Heather Bernardin, conducted two Zoom meetings and discussed what the committee is and is not. Stacey and Heather helped demystify what this often misunderstood committee does as they talked about the nomination and nominee vetting processes and took questions from participants. Both events were recorded, and links are below. In addition, more information on the Nominating Committee and the nomination process are located on swe.org.
