What are the 2021 WE Local Host Committee Albuquerque Members Most Excited About?

Hello! My name is Lisa Woodward. I am the 2021 Local Host Committee (LHC) Albuquerque Member for the Marketing Subcommittee. I have volunteered as an LHC member, a conference speaker and a college competition judge at two (different) WE Local conferences. You might be thinking, “How can you actually enjoy the conferences while doing all of these volunteering activities?”  Well, I can honestly say that attending WE Local conferences is a lot of fun! It provides me with great connections and learning opportunities. Being a WE Local Host Committee Member makes me feel a part of the whole process and brings the enjoyment to a whole new level.  

So, what are you waiting for?  WE Local is officially open for 2021. 

• Check out the WE Local website  
• Apply for a WE Local Award by September 30th or a WE Local Albuquerque Travel Grant
• Encourage a high school student to apply for a SWENext Award 
• Submit your research to the collegiate competition
• Provide a recommendation for a Keynote Speaker or submit a speaker proposal
