Maggie Kreiser

Maggie KreiserMaggie Kreiser is a process engineer for sulfate of potash operations at Compass Mineral’s Ogden, Utah location. This facility features a 50,000-acre solar evaporation pond complex – which is one of only four in the world that produces sulfate of potash from a naturally occurring brine source. 

Since joining the company in 2018, she has competed in the company-wide Innovation Tournament, placing second place, and has served as chair for the Ogden Women’s LINK (Leading, Inspiring, Networking, Knowing) employee resource group (ERG). She is currently on the steering committee of Emerging Leaders LINK, another ERG at the company.  

Maggie studied petroleum and natural gas Engineering at Penn State University and worked on natural gas rigs throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia before joining Compass Minerals and relocating to Utah. She was drawn to engineering as a profession because of the many challenges engineers help solve and the wide variety of career options.  

Most recently, Maggie has been working with the Compass Minerals sales team and directly with customers to better understand the business side of its operations. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and teaching yoga, skiing and snowboarding.
