In this episode of Diverse, host Sam East sits down with Rose Hollister and Terra Winston, two members of SWE’s eXXec program. They talk about the program and their roles in it, including the upcoming eXXec event.
eXXec provides a safe, personal and engaging leadership development experience for 18-20 influential leaders, providing the opportunity to form a peer support network during and after the event.
The next in-person eXXec program begins on June 24, 2024, followed by three days of learning with leading subject matter experts. Terra Winston will run a session called “Leading People.” She will go into detail about when you manage a team, the most important and most challenging role you will play will be that of a leader. Her session will allow you to work on the specific behaviors, tools, and actions to help you step up as the empowering and inclusive leader needed to thrive in these challenging times.
Rose Hollister will run a session called “Leading Change – Change Management Strategies.” Leading change has become a part of everyone’s job. Rose Hollister is a coach and consultant for Fortune 500 companies, a published Harvard Business Review author and a professor. She specializes in partnering with leaders to accelerate results, increase effectiveness and meet emerging business challenges. Prior to founding Hollister Associates, Ms. Hollister was VP of Learning & Change for Equity Office and directed the Leadership Institute for McDonald’s. The Institute provided innovative development for the top 1,600 global leaders in over 100 countries. Ms. Hollister has master’s degrees in Education and Organization Design. She taught graduate level Strategic Change for Northwestern University.
