What is your favorite dish from your culture and why?
Tacos de cabeza, I love the taste and the memories of eating them as a child with my parents in Mexico City. My mom still makes them for me.

What is your favorite dish from your culture and why?
¡DESAYUNO TĂŤPICO SALVADOREĂ‘O! Traditional Salvadoran breakfast: Eggs, fried plantains, refried beans, sour cream, queso fresco, tortillas, pan dulce and coffee — makes me hungry every time I think about it!
What is one food that always makes you think of your family and Latinx culture?
Tamales de pollo (my grandmother MAMA LOLA’s specialty!). Salvadoran style, cooked in banana leaves.
What is the most famous dish from your country of cultural heritage?
PUPUSAS: For the record, no one makes pupusas revueltas (mixed) better than my TĂa Melba :-)

What is your favorite dish from your culture and why?
Chiles en nogada. I love their color that matches those of the Mexican flag, I love the combination of flavors and ingredients, the delicate walnut sauce that’s only possible when you can find fresh walnuts, and the crispy tart touch of pomegranate on top.
What is one food that always makes you think of your family and Latinx culture?
A good “taco plazero” or a zucchini blossom quesadilla always bring memories of weekend brunch with my parents and grandpa
What is the most famous dish from your country of cultural heritage?
I grew up in Puebla where mole and chiles en nogada are kings
