In the summer of 2017, the SWE Chicago Regional Section (SWE-CRS) established the Wendy Landwehr Memorial Scholarship. Wendy was passionate about being a member of the Society of Women Engineers. Wendy was former president of SWE-CRS, Senior Life Member, Board Member, Fellow, and a Trustee Nominee. She worked as an engineer and project manager for Northrop Grumman for 31 years before retiring in July 2016. The Wendy Landwehr Memorial Scholarship is selected by SWE-CRS, a professional section founded in 1952 that supports SWE members in the Chicagoland area, including Rockford, NW Indiana, and as far south as Joliet.
