Introduced in 2002 to raise awareness about the importance of mentoring for youth, National Mentoring Month, now in its 23rd year, has been supported by several American Presidents through presidential proclamations, including President Joe Biden this year.

Mentoring plays a major role at Society of Women Engineers, with mentoring opportunities available at conferences and through the SWE Mentor Network and Mentoring Committee.

SWE Research has also compiled the Mentoring Programs for Women in STEM: Mentoring Modules as a valuable resource for those interested in learning more about mentoring women in STEM.

To mark the occasion of National Mentoring Month, SWE has compiled some of our top blog posts, podcast episodes, magazine articles, and online courses on the power of mentoring.
