What is International Women in Engineering Day?
On June 23, International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) is celebrated globally to recognize and honor the contributions, progress, and impact of women in engineering around the world. At Society of Women Engineers (SWE), this day is especially significant this year, as the Society celebrates its 75th anniversary and more than 50,000 members globally.
Join SWE in applauding the achievements of women engineers and inspiring future generations of women and girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
For INWED, here is a curated collection of some of SWE’s most popular podcast episodes, magazine articles, blog features, and online courses from the past year, showcasing the journeys of women engineers and many learning lessons you can apply personally and professionally.
