Since FY20, SWE has honored members reaching 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50-year milestones of outstanding membership commitment to the Society annually. As SWE members, engineers and technologists from all walks of life join in a legacy that is 75 years in the making. The ongoing dedication of our members empowers SWE as a global leader in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for women and those who are underrepresented within the fields of engineering and technology. We are stronger as a Society through the work, service, and leadership of our members.
We are pleased to share that members who joined SWE during the years below should have received an email with instructions for downloading their digital badges and ordering their anniversary pins according to the following anniversaries:
- 50 Years — joined FY76 (July 1, 1975 – June 30, 1976)
- 45 Years — joined FY81 (July 1, 1980 – June 30, 1981)
- 40 Years — joined FY86 (July 1, 1985 – June 30, 1986)
- 35 Years — joined FY91 (July 1, 1990 – June 30, 1991)
- 30 Years — joined FY96 (July 1, 1995 – June 30, 1996)
- 25 Years — joined FY01 (July 1, 2000 – June 30, 2001)
- 20 Years — joined FY06 (July 1, 2005 – June 30, 2006)
All pins are available to be mailed to qualifying members within the U.S. to the addresses currently on file in our AMS system. Any questions or concerns regarding this process should be directed to membership@swe.org. We look forward to again recognizing members who will achieve their milestone years in FY27 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027).
