Julie Castro Abrams is on a mission for women to be “in the room where it happens” as the Hamilton song goes. She has spent her career focusing on equity for women, in particular focused on entrepreneurship and economic equity. She is the founder of How Women Lead, a network of 16,000 top women executives who are driving change at the top and together they drove CA’s famous board diversity legislation as part of an overall strategy to drive women’s board representation. Her organization trains and places women on hundreds of corporate boards. Julie is also driving change for women’s representation in venture and built the country’s largest venture fund focused exclusively on women founders.

Lynda Grindstaff is a Vice President at McAfee where she leads a global team of security researchers responsible for ensuring McAfee’s customers are protected from the latest cyber threats. She is known for being a passionate and inspirational leader who excels in driving innovation and cybersecurity solutions for F500 B2B and B2C companies. She brings more than 25 years of experience in technical engineering, product marketing, and strategic planning to leadership teams and boardrooms. Lynda is a founding limited partner with How Women Invest and an active strategic advisor in How Women Lead’s Women Leaders for the World program where she provides executive mentorship and coaching to startups and early-stage companies.
Additionally, Lynda has been an active member of the Society of Women Engineers for three decades, a recipient of several SWE national awards including being named a SWE Fellow, and a leader at the local and national levels. Currently, Lynda is the Society’s audit committee chair elect.
