All Together Recognition
All Together, the blog of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), is an award-winning blog. In 2017, SWE and its marketing firm, the David James Group (DJG), received a Golden Trumpet Award in the nonprofit blog category from the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC). In 2018, SWE and DJG were honored with another Golden Trumpet Award. That award recognized SWE’s “Letters from 1919” campaign, which included the blog and featured content from SWE’s archives. The letters showed what women have had to overcome to advance in the male-dominated profession of engineering.
PCC’s Golden Trumpet Awards presentation is the most prestigious awards program for public relations professionals in the region. The awards honor distinguished achievement in the planning, creativity and execution of public relations and communications initiatives.
All Together covers the activities of SWE and a wide range of stories related to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). You’ll find blog posts about SWE members, advocacy, diversity & inclusion, professional development, K-12 outreach, scholarships, and WE conferences. All Together has the latest information about the programs and initiatives of SWE, its members, sponsors, and partners. It’s also a resource for girls interested in pursuing a career in engineering and technology.
