Meredith Moore

SWE’s Diversity Drivers -As president of Leverette Weekes leadership development and communications agency, Meredith works with entrepreneurs and business executives to create effective corporate social responsibility strategies, coach high performers, and build meaningful relationships with media. For more than a decade, Moore has dedicated her career to helping executives inside and outside of corporate America have a positive and lasting impact on their organizations and the world.

During her time in Fortune 500 companies, Meredith led award-winning global CSR initiatives and external brand engagement resulting in recognition as a diversity leader and talent developer. Meredith’s writing explained McDonald’s corporate commitment to advancing women globally, resulting in the corporation receiving the prestigious Catalyst award in 2011. Meredith’s book, Getting Unstuck: A Guide to Moving Your Career Forward, shares her lessons from helping women navigate past the glass ceiling in 119 countries, resulting in the most diverse senior leadership team in the history of McDonald’s. Meredith has a B.A. in journalism from Howard University, a Master of Science in Managerial Communications from Northwestern University, and is a 2021 Black Venture Institute fellow.

Cindy Kent

SWE’s Diversity Drivers -Cindy Kent is a healthcare executive and corporate director widely recognized for her transformational leadership. With over 25-years of experience in healthcare. Kent is the Chief Operating Officer at Everly Health—the digital health company at the forefront oof the virtual diagnostics care industry.

At Everly Health, Cindy is responsible for Supply Chain, Patient Support, Customer Service, Clinical and Telehealth services, as well as Laboratory Operations, which collectively drive 97% of all cost of goods (COGS) sold for the company.

Over her career, Kent has held leadership roles with increasing responsibility at Eli Lilly, Medtronic and 3M, where she led unprecedented revenue and margin growth. In her role as President and GM of the Infection Prevention Division at 3M, Kent led the division’s $1.7B global business operations in sixty countries and managed sales in 170 nations worldwide.

Kent has been recognized for her commitment to excellence in the workplace and her community. Directors & Boards named Kent a “Director to Watch” in its August 2021 Annual Report. In its spring 2020 edition, Savoy Magazine named Kent one of the “Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America.” In 2018, she was named Lead360’s “Executive of the Year,” in 2017 Black Enterprise Magazine named her one of the “Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Business” as well as one of the “Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America”. Kent was recognized as a “Top 35 Women Leaders in Healthcare” by the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST in 2014. She is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute. Kent received dual Masters degrees from Vanderbilt University—a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Care & Leadership as well as her MBA in Marketing. She completed a BS in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University. Kent resides in both Austin, TX and Franklin, TN.
