Does Your Affiliate Have Any Signature Activities That You Do Regularly or Annually?
SWE Toronto hosts coffee clubs every one to two months, along with a speaker series and occasional workshops. We also host larger events for National Engineering Month (NEM) and International Women in Engineering Day (INWED)! You can find our latest events online.
What Is One Thing You Are Really Proud of That Has Taken Place Within the Last Year?
For our National Engineering Month event in 2024, we offered an engaging set of workshops on the topics of sustainability, AI, and mentorship. Despite being organized in a short period of time, the event was enjoyed by our attendees and SWE members alike.
What Is One of Your Favorite Memories With the SWE Community?
Though there are many to choose from, our November edition of coffee club on the topic of career pivoting was filled with many engaging conversations and insightful ideas.
