Michigan Engineering and SWE have created a partnership to provide valuable resources and information to help women engineers explore the career option of graduate school. The goal of this partnership is to make sure women engineers are aware of the benefits of graduate school.

“To tackle society’s problems, which are increasing in complexity, you need the advanced knowledge a graduate degree can provide.” – Elizabeth Dreyer, Ph.D. student in electrical engineering, University of Michigan, SWE Graduate Member Coordinator

In the video below, members of the Society of Women Engineers at the University of Michigan explain why they decided to become engineers and pursue advanced degrees in engineering.

These online resources will empower SWE members to explore, prepare, and apply for graduate school. This information will help them:

  • Find the right program
  • Build a strong application
  • Get funded
