SWENext clubs were asked to tackle the question “What would the world of STEM and/or engineering look like for your club if you had limitless opportunities?” To communicate their ideas, the clubs made a virtual creation that depicted what their world would be like. Winners of this challenge exemplify curiosity, innovation, and enthusiasm for the future of STEM.

To congratulate their efforts, all winners will receive monetary funds for their club’s activities and events, a club spotlight in the HS newsletter, and their creation posted on SWE’s website and social media!
1st Place: Bishops School SWENext
The Bishops School SWENext Club envisioned changes like improved public transportation, healthier coffee that stimulates brain growth, improved access to technology for children, and more. They will receive $300!
2nd Place: Albemarle High School
With limitless opportunities, the Albemarle High School SWENext Club would develop an improved curriculum to introduce kids to engineering. They will receive $200!
3rd Place: MSET Cuttlefish
The MSET Cuttlefish SWENext Club envisions a hackathon, robot scrimmages, an inclusive environment for female and non-binary engineers, and more. They will receive $100!
