Virtual Conference Access​​

Online access to the virtual conference will begin at 4 a.m. PT on Thursday, Oct. 26, and will expire on Jan. 30, 2024. You will login to the virtual platform at https://we23.vfairs.com/ with the email address used to register and create your password upon your first login. Google Chrome is the recommended browser to use to have the best experience. 

Having trouble logging in? First, click the Forgot Password link on the login page to get a password reset email from noreply@vfairs.com with a subject line Login Details. Be sure to check your spam folder! If you continue to have issues, email support at we23@getvfairs.io for additional support.

Live Streamed Sessions

63 sessions will be live-streamed straight from the LA Convention Center between Thursday, Oct. 26 – Saturday, Oct. 28. Participate in these sessions virtually by logging in during the live event and engaging in the chat! 

  • Questions for the speakers at keynotes and Inspirational Insights: Submit yours through the WE23 app during these live-streamed events for a chance for it to be addressed by the speaker! For these events, chat on the virtual platform WILL NOT be monitored by the speakers on-site, so you’ll need to download and submit any questions you have for these sessions through the WE23 app in order to engage virtually. 
  • Questions for the speakers at all other live-streamed sessions: Submit yours through the vFairs virtual platform chat during live-streamed events. The chat on the virtual platform WILL be monitored by the staff on-site for all other live-streamed sessions that are not keynotes or Inspirational Insights.

Make Connections in the Virtual Networking Chat Room

The WE23 virtual conference will include an open chat room for all attendees to be able to network in an open forum. The chat will be open all hours during the three-day event to encourage attendees from around the globe to connect at their convenience.

  • 170 On-Demand Sessions ― All of these sessions will be ready to view upon your first log in.
  • Compete in the Scavenger Hunt and Leaderboard. The top three in each game will win a prize post-conference!

IACETSWE is happy to provide seven Inspirational Insights sessions eligible to earn 0.1 CEU/1.0 PDH each (The State of Women in Engineering session is not eligible for CEUs). To earn CEUs, you must attend the entire session and pass the post-session survey with an 80%. SWE will not award partial credit or adjusted CEUs to individuals who do not successfully meet the criteria. Please note: If you attend any of the WE23 Inspirational Insights and meet the criteria to earn CEUs, SWE will issue your certificate to the name and email you provide in the survey by Dec. 1. Learn More.

Upload Your CV to the Career Center

Though there is no virtual career fair, virtual attendees are still encouraged to upload their CV to the SWE Career Center, and flag it as attending WE23. Recruiters will be reviewing candidates in the career center during and after the conference! Download the steps to upload your resume and tag WE23

Do:

  • Use hashtags #WE23 and/or #LiveWithoutLimits in all your social media posts!
  • Make sure your content is appropriate for sharing.
  • Take as many #SWEselfies as possible. We will be retweeting and featuring them.

Don’t:

  • Use hashtag #SWE23.
  • Misrepresent SWE’s mission on social media.
  • Post content that violates SWE’s social media policy.
