Mrinal Karvir is a senior AI software engineering manager at Intel Corporation. She leads teams that develop innovative solutions in AI, and she often serves on judging panels and chairs sessions for AI conferences.

As an ethical AI champion at Intel, she provides leadership and clarity on responsible AI practices and is an industry speaker on this topic. She has helped shape the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Autonomous and Intelligent Systems (AIS) ethics standards as an expert reviewer.

Mrinal is an IEEE senior member and serves as the secretary on the Board of Governors for the IEEE Computer Society. She is also the vice chair for the IEEE Santa Clara Valley Women in Engineering chapter, focusing on building a strong community of technical women.

Furthermore, Mrinal volunteers as an ABET program evaluator for computer science, software engineering, and data science programs, aiming to enhance the quality of education.
