We can all agree that the impacts of the global COVID-19 pandemic have been far reaching. Normally the installation of SWE’s Board of Directors and Board of Trustees is a festive face-to-face gathering that welcomes colleagues, friends, partners and SWE members to a location that is meaningful to the incoming SWE President. This year was to be no different with a celebratory evening planned for July 30 in Boulder, CO, the place FY21 SWE President Heather Doty calls home.
Unfortunately, the pandemic forced Installation to pivot to a virtual event conducted over Zoom. Despite being virtual, the enthusiasm of our incoming Board of Directors and Board of Trustees remained high! Heather kept the momentum going as she delivered her inspirational remarks – a great start to her year as President.
