Women engineers lead contributive, interesting, and fulfilling lives, giving to their profession and communities. SWE Magazine celebrates these women, many of them unsung heroes, annually in the spring issue.
The nomination form only takes a few minutes to complete and can be found here.
You may not need to dig very deep to identify a deserving individual (and she doesn’t need to be a SWE member). She might sit at the desk next to you. She might be your work mentor, or your next-door neighbor. She might even be your mentee or your daughter. Maybe you’ve never met this woman, but she’s impacted our history.
Perhaps she has gone out of her way to mentor other women engineers or younger students interested in STEM. Or she may have provided support for and made significant contributions to major projects in areas of interest to our society, health, and medicine, infrastructure, or technology in general. For inspiration, you can read about last year’s WEYSK here.
Make sure to nominate the next Woman Engineer You Should Know!
