US Members: Plan to Vote in Your Local Elections

Join us in participating in our democratic system by voting on November 8th.
Your Voice Matters!
[social_warfare]

November 8th is next week – do you have a voting plan ready? Elections shape our democracy and your voice matters. For more voting information, check out VOTE411 (presented by the League of Women Voters) or TurboVote, both of which provide critical information including how to register to vote, where your polling place is, and what you’ll see on your ballot.

We encourage you to read up on all the measures and candidates in your area to ensure you are as informed as possible when you enter the voting booth. Each choice down your ballot matters and can shape the future of both your local area and the national landscape. The 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote, was ratified just over a century ago and it is our responsibility to protect and utilize that right.

What does a voting plan look like?

  • Verify your voter registration
  • Know where your polling place is (this can sometimes change from election to election)
  • Research what exactly will be on your ballot (VOTE411 has a tool to preview your ballot here)
  • Share your voting plan with friends and family and encourage them to vote as well

Voting and the right to vote has never been more important than at this time. We stand behind this essential part of our democracy and hope all of our US-based members exercise their right to vote.
