The vision of the Global Women Engineers Affinity Group (AG) is to build community among SWE international members including expats and Friends of SWE.
The Global Women Engineers AG’s mission includes:
- Mutually supporting each other by building community through media (our website, Facebook, magazine, etc), partnerships, and metrics where members are able to share knowledge, concerns, and experiences among themselves and allies
- Increase professional development through speaker bureau, WE Annual and WE Local presence, industry presence, webinars and articles
- Increase empowerment through our leadership pipeline, acknowledging accomplishments on social media, and awards
- Increase understanding and commitment to the value of diversity and inclusion as an integral part of SWE culture
