The Cambridge Dictionary defines branding as “the act of making a product, organization, person, or place easy to recognize as different from others by connecting with a particular name, design, symbol, set of qualities, etc.”

Branding goes hand in hand with having an integrated marketing strategy. An integrated marketing strategy delivers a consistent message across multiple channels for your brand. Consistent branding is important to create brand awareness, reach, trust, and efficiency.

Why Is Using the SWE Brand Correctly so Important?

SWE’s brand guidelines state that the reason to use the brand correctly is “to ensure a strong, professional and consistent brand image for the Society of Women Engineers around the globe.”

For IMAB, this means helping bring the Society together to continue to spread awareness for SWE. For example, the SWE in Solidarity Logo was created by IMAB to help the Society come together in difficult times.
