TCP AG Mentorship Program

The TCP AG is excited to start a mentorship program! This mentoring program is a bit different from the one offered by SWE. While the SWE mentorship program focuses on networking, leadership, and professional development, this initiative is designed to help mentees strengthen their technical skills. They’ll have the opportunity to work directly with experts in specific technical areas where they’re seeking support or growth.

Help Build the Future — One Technical Mentor at a Time
You’ve navigated complex systems, solved tough problems, and carved out your space in a demanding and dynamic field. As a woman in a technical role, your journey is powerful, and now it’s time to pay it forward.

The next generation of women in tech needs more than inspiration — they need guidance, real-world insights, and role models who’ve walked the walk. That’s where you come in.

Why Mentor in a Technical Role?

  • Help young women build confidence in coding, engineering, data, and cybersecurity
  • Offer practical advice on navigating technical challenges and workplace dynamics
  • Share your experiences to bridge the gap between the classroom and the real-world
  • Show future leaders what technical excellence looks like — they can’t be what they can’t see

Your knowledge is valuable. Your voice is powerful. Your time can change lives.

Share your skills. Shape tomorrow’s women in tech.

About the TCP AG

The TCP AG was founded in June 2021 and is focused on supporting women in planning for growth down a technical career path as technical leaders. The goal is to promote women to excel on the technical leadership path and expand engagement in SWE awards. This AG creates a sphere of influence to promote opportunities to engage more females in the engineering technical leadership pipeline.

Our mission is to provide support and networking for SWE members interested in their careers technically and to be a resource for information and feedback of the technical career path growth perspective to other SWE committees and groups.

How to Get Involved With the TCP AG
