Swe Honored With Irelaunch Impact AwardiRelaunch is honoring the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) with the first iRelaunch Impact Award. SWE is being recognized for partnering with iRelaunch to create and co-lead the STEM Re-entry Task Force, which has now enabled well over 300 technical relaunchers to return to work at 20 companies, including some of the biggest companies in the world.

At the iRelaunch Return to Work Conference, Jennifer Howland from IBM and Karen Ramsey-Idem from Cummins, two of the original founding members of the Task Force, will be present when SWE Executive Director & CEO Karen Horting and SWE Vice President of Strategic Partnerships Jennifer Scott are honored, along with SWE itself. The conference is at Columbia University in New York City on October 4, 2018.

All SWE members and friends of SWE who are relaunching technical careers are welcome to attend the iRelaunch Return to Work Conference. It is iRelaunch’s 23rd conference. Attendees experience a comprehensive and exciting day learning the top career reentry strategies and meeting corporate sponsors who are there because they want to hire relaunchers. These global companies are building out their technical and engineering departments and are very interested in those with technical backgrounds. Most have programs directly for relaunchers and you must have had a career break to be eligible. Click here for details and to register.
