SWE Endowed Scholarships: Susan Miszkowicz September 11 Memorial Scholarship -To honor the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, the New York Professional Section and friends in SWE funded the Susan Miszkowicz September 11 Memorial Scholarship.  Susan was the backbone and leader of the New York Professional Section for many years.  She served as Section Vice President, Region Conference Chair in New York City, and rose to the position of Section President before SWE lost her at the age of 38 in the attacks on the World Trade Center.  She was working as a Contract Engineer for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

The Susan Miszkowicz September 11 Memorial Scholarship was funded in 2002 and is awarded to undergraduate sophomores, junior, and seniors in any engineering related major.  If you would like to donate to the Susan Miszkowicz September 11 Memorial Scholarship, please visit the SWE website here and select the available fund.

Endowed SWE Scholarships are awarded annually and support the next generation of engineers. To establish an endowed scholarship that will be awarded in perpetuity, visit this page (scroll down to “Scholarship Endowments”) or donate to an endowed scholarship here!
