SWE Magazine continues to earn recognition from the publishing industry through the annual Awards for Publishing Excellence, referred to as APEX, and the FOLIO: Eddie and Ozzie competition.
For the FY23 publication cycle, SWE Magazine received eight APEX Awards including three Grand Awards, the organization’s highest honor, and five Awards of Excellence. The magazine received recognition in electronic media and podcasting; writing; magazines, journals and tabloids; and design and illustration.
APEX is an international competition that honors the work of corporate, independent, and nonprofit publishers, writers, editors, graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers who create content for print, web, electronic, and social media platforms.
In FOLIO’s Eddie and Ozzie awards, which recognize editorial distinction and outstanding design, respectively, SWE Magazine won two top awards and three honorable mentions in the categories of podcasting, writing, and full issue content.
The FOLIO competition is the magazine industry’s largest and most comprehensive competition and identifies excellence in market-specific categories across all sectors of the publishing industry, from business-to-business and association to consumer and digital communications, and more. Award recipients were announced in October during the organization’s annual conference in New York City.
