We are pleased to share that in continuation of our endeavor to spread SWE’s mission, #SWEChennaiaffiliate collaborated with the Early Talent team @CaterpillarInc. India, reaching out to 500+ women engineers across the country to host the In Person – 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 on 23rd and 24th February 2023.
On Day-1 of the event, students visited the 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 to understand & experience the Cat Machine world & assembly lines. Day 2 of the event comprised several segments of structured sessions to impart technology overview among the students and networking sessions with Caterpillar leaders at 𝐖𝐓𝐂, 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. The girls also had the opportunity to understand long-term career opportunities in the manufacturing industry at Caterpillar.
