SWE Magazine, the official publication of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), is published quarterly, with an extra issue in October.
Articles cover issues of interest to women engineers including the achievements and accomplishments of their peers, career development, career guidance for and outreach to students, activities within the Society, and technical themes affecting a broad range of engineering disciplines.
The magazine's direct mail circulation includes SWE professional and collegiate members, plus corporations and universities throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
All members receive emails announcing an issue's availability with links to the online publication. SWE Magazine's digital issues draw more than 15,000 views and 300,000 page views per year. In addition, SWE has dedicated apps for the magazine in the Amazon, Apple and Google stores to make accessing content easier than ever before on smartphones and tablets.
The Society, founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and receive the recognition and credit for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.
