Are you an undergrad or grad student? If so, the 2020 WE Local Collegiate Competition is an excellent opportunity for you to build your resume and receive direct feedback from other women engineers on your research! At the WE Local Collegiate Competition, undergraduate and graduate students who are selected as Finalists have the opportunity to present their research in three styles: short-form abstract submission (requirement of all submitters), visual poster presentation and lightning talk. This allows for students to learn and gain insight on their research, and to receive live feedback and encouragement from others within the STEM field.
WE Local is now accepting Collegiate Competition applications. To view guidelines and evaluation rubrics, download the 2020 WE Local Collegiate Competition Packet. Apply before Monday, November 11, 2019!
There are two submission categories: Undergraduate Collegiate and Graduate Collegiate. All applicants are required to submit an online abstract for judging.
Finalists of the 2020 WE Local Collegiate Competition will receive a $250 stipend and complimentary collegiate premier registration to compete in the technical poster competition at WE Local San Diego. They will also be recognized during the WE Achieve awards ceremony on Saturday evening where three finalists from each category will be awarded first, second and third place.
